Traditionally, on Friday mornings, we gathered to learn something new and valuable, connect with each other, meet new people, and enjoy a great time together.

Last Friday, we met at the @parket_home_il showroom for a lecture by Marina Rechter Rubinshtein, isreali architect and founder of ReMa Architecture. Marina graciously shared her knowledge about design and construction standards in Israel.

At the showroom, we discovered an impressive range of parquet and wall coverings, as well as doors and fittings. What stood out to us was that @parket_home_il takes care of the entire process, from consultancy to installation, offering up to 10-year warranty on their products. We were also happy to find a selection of European wallpapers we used to work with – something that’s not always easy to source here in Israel.

The highlight of the day was diving into one of the most crucial topics: Israeli design standards. Marina Richter Rubinstein, an Israeli architect and founder of @rema_architects , helped us clarify many complex aspects. We covered essential topics such as fire and electrical safety standards, materials, flooring options, and even how civil defense is connected to home lighting.

It was undoubtedly a great decision to split Marina’s lecture into two parts, as 1.5 hours wasn’t enough to address everything in detail.

We are incredibly grateful to Marina for sharing her invaluable insights, accumulated over years of experience in architecture and interior design. We are looking forward to schedule the next lecture!
