במיצב הפיסול והווידאו שיצרה נבאא פוואז במיוחד לחלל התערוכה, היא מבקשת לדבר על בעיה גופנית קטנה אך חסרת שליטה, שאת קיומה לא קלטה בחושיה אלא גילתה בעזרת אחרים. גילוי זה הוביל אותה לתהות באופן קבוע כיצד היא נתפסת בידי אחרים – האם הבעיה נוכחת? האם היא גדולה? האם היא יכולה להיעלם? הניסיונות להדחיק ולהעלים את הבעיה הפכו אותה לעניין שאי אפשר להתעלם ממנו, והיא הפכה נוכחת הרבה יותר בחייה
פוואז עוסקת בשאלות של הסתרה, בושה והדחקה ובצורך לדבר כדי לא להישאר לבד. היא נעה בין הרצון לדבר על עצם קיומה של הבעיה לבין הכורח שלא לחשוף את תכניה. היא מנסה לשמור על הגבול הדק בין השאיפה לא להסתיר לבין החשש מסלידה. לשם כך היא נוקטת באמצעי הזהירות הנדרשים, ובונה מתקני צפייה שמייצרים הגנה ומרחק ביטחון. האם מהלך זה יעזור לאמנית לקלוט את הבעיה בחושיה? האם הבעיה בכלל קיימת? והאם ההכרה בה מספיקה כדי להתמודד איתה

In a sculpture and video installation created especially for this exhibition, Nabaa Fawaz addresses a small yet uncontrollable bodily problem—one she didn’t perceive through her own senses but discovered through others. This discovery led her to wonder how others perceive her: Is the problem visible? Is it significant? Can it disappear? Her attempts to suppress and conceal the problem only made it impossible to ignore, amplifying its presence in her life.
Fawaz grapples with questions of concealment, shame, and repression, along with the need to speak so as not to remain alone. She navigates between wanting to acknowledge the problem and feeling compelled not to reveal its details. She attempts to walk the fine line between refusing to hide and the fear of provoking repulsion. To this end, she takes necessary precautions, constructing viewing mechanisms that provide protection and maintain a safe distance. Will this tactic help the artist perceive the problem through her own senses? Does the problem even exist? And is mere acknowledgment enough to cope with it?
