OPEN CALL FOR ARTISTS TO PARTICIPATE IN THE EXHIBITION “Life Through War”, which will take place within the framework of the Forum “Life Under Fire: A Time of Trials and Hope” in Haifa on March 27, 2025, and in the digital archive of the #ArtistsStandWithIsrael project.

 

On March 27, 2025, Haifa will host the second Forum “Life Under Fire: A Time of Trials and Hope,” dedicated to the current challenges faced by Israeli society. This is a unique platform for discussions, bringing together experts, public figures, government representatives, media, and civil society. As part of the forum, the exhibition “Life Through War” will be presented, curated by Kate Finkelstein. The project is organized by PointView Initiative and the World Association for Jews within the “Hasbara” initiative, with the support of Haifa Municipality.

 

DEADLINE: March 20, 2025

 

WHO CAN PARTICIPATE:

 

Professional artists whose works reflect various aspects of life in the region after October 7, 2023, up to the present moment.

This project continues the #ArtistsStandWithIsrael series of exhibitions and art initiatives, which gathered over 300 artistic responses from around the world within the first three months of the war.

SUBMISSION CATEGORIES:

 

Artists can submit works in two sections:

 

1. “Exhibition” Section:

Open to works created after October 7, 2023, which have not previously been exhibited in #ArtistsStandWithIsrael projects.
Artists must be ready to provide their works in Haifa by March 27.
Mediums: Any suitable for wall display or other physical presentation.
Works intended for digital display may only be submitted in the “Digital” section.

 

2. “Digital” Section:

Open to works created no earlier than 2024.
Accepts both digital media and high-quality documentation of traditional artworks (painting, graphics, etc.).
Selected works will become part of the #ArtistsStandWithIsrael digital archive and will be presented at the forum on March 27 and in future projects.

To apply, please fill out the Application Form by March 20, 2025:

 

PARTICIPATION IN THE PROJECT IS FREE OF CHARGE. Artists are responsible for the delivery and return of their works.
