Open Call; Art in Interior – Pesach Edition

Passover is a holiday of renewal – stepping into the light, gathering around the table, of the home as a space filled with meaning. From this spirit, the open call was born: a special edition dedicated to the meeting point between contemporary art and living space.
We invite artists and interior designers to take part in a joint curatorial initiative that explores how art is not merely something hung on a wall, but something that lives within the home, engaged in dialogue with architecture, light, people sitting around the table, and with the story the space tells.
The goal of this edition is to show how contemporary art lives inside real homes creating dialogue, meaning and atmosphere.
1 stage - for artists
Deadline for art submissions: March 6
Artists are invited to submit works that can integrate naturally into residential spaces. We are not looking for a “decorative object,” but for a work with presence – one that knows how to engage in a sensitive dialogue with its surroundings.
From all submissions, a limited curated collection will be selected and presented on the DI website as a dedicated digital exhibition.
Criterions for submission:
• Works suitable for hanging on a wall
• Budget range: 500–7000 ₪
• Maximum size: 2 × 2 meters
• Media: paintings and drawings, photography, prints, textile, ceramics, mixed media
How to participate:
• Sign in on DI Catalogue website and create your artistic profile (basic or detailed) in «Art» section.
• Fill in the required details in the Google form for artists, including a short explanation of the curatorial thinking behind the artworks.
On March 9, selected artworks will be announced as part of the curated art collection and showcased on the DI website in a dedicated digital exhibition.
This exclusive collection will become a resource for participating interior designers, who will select artworks from it to integrate into their projects.
2 stage - for interior designers
Deadline for interior design projects’ submissions: March 27
Interior designers are invited to select a work from the curated collection and integrate it into a residential project — existing or planned.
We are looking for spaces where art is not an addition, but an active force in shaping the atmosphere, rhythm, and identity of the home.
Accepted formats for submission:
• Professional photographs of art in interiors
• 3D visualizations
• Conceptual or curated collages
How to participate:
• Sign in on DI Catalogue website and create your professional profile in «Professionals» section
• Choose one of the art works from the curated art collection (a link will appear here on March 9), integrate it into your project.
• Fill in the required details in the Google form for interior designers, including a short explanation of the curatorial thinking behind the choice of art.
On March 31 we will announce 12 selected interiors – finalists who will be published in DI Magazine and across DI and DUART media platforms as a curated Pesach special edition.
3 projects – winners will receive a full publication in DI Magazine.

.פסח הוא חג של התחדשות, של יציאה אל אור, של מפגש סביב שולחן ושל בית כמרחב טעון משמעות. מתוך הרוח הזו נולד הקול הקורא – מהדורה מיוחדת המוקדשת למפגש שבין אמנות עכשווית לחללים ביתיים.
אנחנו מזמינות אמנים ומעצבי פנים לקחת חלק במהלך אוצרותי משותף המבקש לבחון כיצד אמנות אינה רק תלויה על הקיר – אלא חיה בתוך הבית, יוצרת דיאלוג עם האדריכלות, עם האור, עם היושבים סביב השולחן, ועם הסיפור שהחלל מספר.
.המטרה היא להרכיב קולקציה אוצרותית שתדגים כיצד אמנות עכשווית נטמעת במרחב מגורים אמיתי – ומעניקה לו עומק, זהות ואווירה.
שלב ראשון – לאמנים
מועד אחרון להגשה: 6 במרץ
.אמנים מוזמנים להגיש עבודות היכולות להשתלב באופן טבעי בחללים ביתיים. איננו מחפשות “אובייקט דקורטיבי”, אלא עבודה שיש לה נוכחות – אך כזו היודעת לנהל שיח רגיש עם הסביבה.
.מתוך כלל ההגשות תיבחר קולקציה אוצרותית מצומצמת שתוצג באתר DI כתערוכה דיגיטלית ייעודית.

טווח מחירים: 500–₪7000 •

מדיומים : ציור ורישום, צילום, הדפס, טקסטיל, קרמיקה, מדיה מעורבת
:אופן ההשתתפות
הרשמה ויצירת פרופיל אמנותי באתר במדור “אמנות” (בסיסי או מפורט) •
מילוי טופס גוגל הכולל פרטי העבודה והצהרה קצרה על החשיבה האוצרותית שמאחוריה •
.ב־9 במרץ נכריז על העבודות הנבחרות שיוצגו כתערוכה דיגיטלית מיוחדת באתר
.הקולקציה שתיבחר תהפוך למאגר פתוח למעצבי הפנים המשתתפים – נקודת מוצא לדיאלוג בין אמנות לעיצוב
שלב שני – למעצבי פנים
מועד אחרון להגשה: 27 במרץ
.מעצבי פנים מוזמנים לבחור עבודה מתוך הקולקציה האוצרותית ולשלבה בפרויקט מגורים – קיים או מתוכנן
.אנחנו מחפשות חללים שבהם האמנות איננה תוספת – אלא גורם פעיל בעיצוב האווירה, הקצב והזהות של הבית
