DESCRIPTION:אוצר: אבי לובין\nבמרכז התערוכה רחם קולקטיבית של האמנית אדוה דרורי נמצאת פעולה פרפורמטיבית והשתתפותית. במשך שלושה ימים, בבריכה שנמצאת בחצר הפסיפס של המוזיאון, יצרה דרורי שלוש עבודת ליבוד גדולות עשויות צמר כבשים טבעי, בשיתוף הקהילה.\nעבודות אלה הן ליבו של המיצב החדש שלה. תהליך הליבוד, המשלב מגע אינטנסיבי עם חומר חי, מים וסבון, מייצר אינטראקציה אישית וקהילתית. החיכוך הפיזי עם החומר מזכיר את הצורך במגע ובקשר אנושי, במיוחד בתקופה של קרעים חברתיים ומשברים אישיים.\nלאחר הליבוד דרורי מכבסת את היריעות והחומר הרך והשברירי מתלכד באמצעות פעולת הכיבוס והופך לחומר חזק, עמיד אך גם נושם וחי.\nמנקודת המוצא הזו דרורי מייצרת מיצב תלוי-מקום המיועד לחלל התצוגה. היא משלבת במיצב סוגים שונים של טקסטיל וכן אוהלים, פופים וכריות שמכוסים ביריעות לבד, צמר ובד.\nדרורי הופכת את חלל התצוגה של המוזיאון למעין רחם קולקטיבית, המאפשרת לקהל מרחב שבו ניתן לשהות, להתערסל לבד או לקיים אינטראקציה עם מבקרים אחרים.\nעל רקע המציאות המדממת, המשוסעת והמפורקת של זמננו, דרורי מייצרת סביבה של דיאלוג ואמפתיה, שבה הטראומה והריפוי נמצאים בדיאלוג מתמיד. בפעולה זו היא מחברת בין אמנות, גוף וקהילה. ההתמקדות שלה בעמלנות נשית מסורתית מדגישה את תפקידן המרכזי של נשים בהובלת שינויים חברתיים וקהילתיים, ומחברת בין מסורות עבר לאופני פעולה עכשוויים.\n______________________________\nAdva Drori’s exhibition Collective Womb centers on a performative and participatory action. Over three days, in the pool at the museum’s mosaic courtyard, Drori created three large felted works made from natural sheep’s wool in collaboration with the community. These works form the core of her new installation. The felting process, which involves intense contact with natural raw material, water, and soap, generates both personal and communal interaction. The physical friction with the material recalls the need for touch and human connection, especially during times of social rupture and personal crisis. After felting, Drori washes the sheets, and the soft, fragile material binds together through the washing process, becoming strong and resilient yet still breathing and alive.\nFrom this point of departure, Drori creates a site-specific installation designed for the exhibition space. She incorporates different types of textiles, as well as tents, beanbag chairs, and cushions covered with felt sheets, wool, and fabric. Drori transforms the museum’s exhibition space into a kind of collective womb, offering the public a space in which to linger, to nestle alone, or interact with other visitors.Against the backdrop of our bleeding, fractured, and fragmented reality, Drori creates an environment of dialogue and empathy, where trauma and healing are in constant conversation. Through this action, she connects art, body, and community. Her focus on traditional women’s craft emphasizes the central role women play in leading social and communal change, linking past traditions with contemporary modes of action.\n
