The works selected for this exhibition are mostly made of ceramics, but there are also works made of glass, video, sewing and embroidery threads, interactive light sculpture, ready-made objects, and more. They express the effort to reach centering, in the failures and successes along the way, in the material aspects of centering as well as in its spiritual aspects.

3. "Manbroiderers" (Men Do Embroidery)
TEO CENTER FOR ART & CULTURE, Herzliya
The exhibition shows a selection of works of the local men artists who use embroidery as an artistic medium.
Embroidery is one of the oldest crafts in the world. Modern embroidery works usually do not fulfill a practical need, but are intended for art, beauty and decoration. In recent years many artists use embroidery as if it was a paintbrush, and many embroiderers point out that they paint with threads. In contemporary art, embroidery is a medium of personal, creative and diverse expression. Male artists, who use embroidery techniques, were invited for this exhibition, each unique and special in his own way.

Till 26.01
4. "Gathering"
Zumu, Kibbutz Bror Hayil
Zumu is a community based mobile museum, which travels throughout different Israeli peripherial cities, showcasing changing exhibits that are created and curated together with the local communities. In each location Zumu creates a deep connection with the local hosting authorities, communities and artists, in order to embed the museum within their urban fabric.
This year Zumu presents a unique site-specific contemporary art and design exhibition, showcasing the works of 70 artists in the historic dining hall of the Kibbutz Be’ror Hail – a kibbutz in southern Israel, located near the city of Sderot.
